I must admit that particular observation has passed me by; probably because on the rare occasions I bimble about on the underground I tend to hide away in a daydream.
but I can imagine soooo many commuters falling asleep and missing their stop!
I always find it quite weird how you can get off at a station and there will be a different station in eyesight of the one you've just got off.
It's like, why do you need the stations so close together?!
I suppose that's what comes from living in Hertfordshire, convenient public transport is alien to me :P
I'm fine! Totally fine. I don't know why it's coming out all loud and squeaky, 'cause really, I'm fine!

Haha we should so make this happen and then come up with a loud alarm to wake people up at each stop

Haha I get that by living in Norfolk but when I lived in Wattyford I had good public transport - I miss it... especially having the tube 10 mins from my house.
I didn't even realise they had underground in Glasgow!
And yay! It should totally happen! ;p
Now, a lot of people say Watford is London, but I have always been under the impression that it is Hertfordshire. On the Harry Potter poster things, it says it's London and it's on the Met line, but I go to court in Watford and that's because it falls under West Hertfordshire. I get so confused!
The underground in Brussels was quite scary, within 5 minutes of me being on the train, someone got mugged!
But what is good is that there are no seats next to each other, they are just single seats, which is amazing! :p

Well it is in Hertfordshire, my old address used to be Watford, Herts but a lot of people do associate it with London and it does have a tube stop, and is just outside Greater London. If people ask me where I'm from I say London or just outside London and then if they say where I say Watford. It's easier to explain it that way as some people only know the place because of the tube line... or think of the Watford Gap which is no where near haha.
Ah, that makes sense!
I generally don't even try to explain where I live to people who don't live in the immediate surrounding area!
I can go just half an hour on the train and people there haven't even heard of where I live.

This thread could not have been made by anyone other than you, Beckie :P I didn't even remember your new username, but I recognised you by the weirdness of the topic.
