They are saying the third one was in addition to the controlled explosion. Having lived through 9-11 up close most of what we will hear over the next hours will - aside form the basics - be false.
People around me are panicking. I live in Brooklyn but in Manhattan right now. I was in Boston the other week. RIP to the people who have died. People disgust me sometimes. x
Boston police are advising people to stay away from big crowd. Being in New York thats probably good advice as well since Boston and NYC are joined at the hip. Indeed planes on 9-11 hit came out of Boston.

Now the JFK "explosion" is just a "fire" and not related. This is how it always goes. Whoever said "In war the first 3 reports are wrong" knew what they were talking about
I'm worried that something similar will happen at the London marathon on Sunday.
Pays to be careful but these explosions are being called the likely result of a small local effort. This wasn't like 9-11, Madrid or 7/7. I wouldn't worry too much.
To be honest, it probably looked like a perfect time to terrorists. Everyone's focusing on North Korea and putting every ounce of security on making sure no nuclear bombs hit the country that it's probably quite easy to ignore anything else that might already be there.
Plus, any kind of attack would probably look like it was from North Korea and it'd be a hell of a lot easier to get away with. But now security's being upped, it would be stupid to try anything now. Although saying that, terrorists aren't one for clever ideas.

I hope everyone is ok and staying safe. Just another reminder to, as always with these situations, check your news is from a reliable source, not just rumors. If there are further explosions it will be on the TV and if you need to evacuate you will be told to do so by officials. I'm jsut saying because I've seen a lot of people panicking and telling people to leave there homes when that is probably not a smart thing to do.
