I agree, a poll would have been better, I enjoy a good poll.

But no, I don't agree with you, I enjoy reading what people put and I enjoy being able to comment on things.

What would you prefer to see in GC?

Edit - And even if it was a bit like Bookface, I don't see the problem with it, after all, this is GC it's meant to be general chit chat.

I don't mind random threads about something. What gets me is, "HI! I started this thread because I need attention. *posts meme* That's it."... there are so many of these. Why not create ONE thread for all the random photos instead of starting a thread every time...

How perplexing. Unless you count actual legit discussion-starting pictures or videos, then I can only find one thread out of the 35 on the first page of general chat that starts with a meme, and that is the thread that is explicitly for funny/meme-y things.

I must say, I don't quite see the problem here!

My friend's mum had just passed away and she also has serious issues with her looks so I was like, 'Your face..no! your mum..no! **** sake, you smell!', before riding away on my awkward turtle.

I don't know. I don't know if it really matters. What I mostly notice is the same people constantly posting, and yes that comes across as very, "Look at me! Like me!" But I don't know these people and I have bigger concerns so I can't make myself care all that much.

See, I don't see that as "look at me, look at me", I see that as people engaging within the community and in my opinion making this place a good place. I enjoy the randomess of it all.
