I just watched Von Trier's The Idiots, part two of my foray into Dogme.

Well.

It was deeply, horrendously offensive. Triggers for damn near everything. I have never been so angry in all my life, and this was at a film.

But then the ending happened, and it hit me right in the feels. Completely justifies the movie and makes everything okay again.

I think Mark Kermode never got to the end though. He shouted, 'das is merde!' [this is s***] at Sundance [?] and promptly got kicked out, only to watch Von Trier's career skyrocket and awkwardly be forced to interview him right after Melancholia came out. Gloriously awkward.

So yeah. rage/10 until the end, then like a solid 8. IF Dogme is for you, that is.

Benji's Weekly Insight:
I have a Tonberry teddy called Grudge.

I watched 'Ma Vie En Rose' the other day. Translates as 'My Life In Pink' and it is very good.

King Kong - It was great but made me cry lol especially the quote at the end of the film.

Silent Hill - I have watched it before and enjoyed it again, wouldn't mind seeing the new one at some point.

Whenever someone mentions Silent Hill I have to congratulate them on their taste.

I watched Different For Girls last night. I enjoyed it.
