So I have been watching Doctor Who from when it restarted in 2005 and I must say, I liked Big Ears (Christopher) as a Doctor and then grew to love Big Hair (David Tennant) as a Doctor.
I am not up to Season 5 and have decided that I do not like Matt Smith.
I shall go sulk in the corner until David Tennant comes back.
You start life with a clean slate. Then you begin to make your mark. You face decisions, make choices. You keep moving forward. But sooner or later there comes a time where you look back over where you have been and wonder who you really are.
Well I did like it when he said that he is just a crazy man with a box..

How do you know that you don't like him if you haven't watched season 5 yet? Give him a chance

I dont think its necessary matt smiths fault that many people don't like the newer series, but its gotten really crap that as much as i used to watch it i don't bother anymore.
Also isnt he leaving after this series anyway, so it will change again soon.

I thought this was going to be a birthday thread as he's 30 on Sunday!

I took Matt Smith with a pinch of salt when he first turned up.
But he really came into his own and he's doing really well now.

I also do not like how they changed the logo of the show to the DW looking like a Tardis.
I do not like.
I shall complain.
But I will get used to it

Don't get too hatey without actually seeing him in role. Every single doctor and sidekick I've been sceptical of, then you watch them and can't imagine your lives without them. Or that might just be me. But they're good, though. Give it a chance.
I don't think it's Matt Smith tbh. I quite like his take on The Doctor.
In fact I think it's more that Steven Moffatt is head writer and whilst I enjoyed his episodes before, it just isn't the same without Russell, Julie and Colin. I'm hoping that Russell T Davies comes back for the 50th anniversary special, no offence to Steven...
But the 5 episodes of series seven, a tiny bit better but why he couldn't produce a full 13 episode series for 2012 beats me. O.o

The Doctor
My favorite Matt smith episode is "Vincent and the Doctor" (I think that's the title). I love it :)

^ I liked that one too, but that was mainly because of Vincent van Gogh and my curiosity of what historical artists would be like in person rather than reading about them in a book.
