Try breathing exercises. Breathe in for the count of three (a slow three, not a fast panicked three). Hold your breath for the count of three, breathe out for the count of three. Repeat it multiple times.
Another option is try visualizing yourself in a calm place. Imagine yourself somewhere wonderful, before the rape ever happened. Breathe deeply. Remember what the place smells like, what sounds you hear, what you see. I love doing a beach and thinking of the sound of the waves, the smell of salt water, the cold wind, and the sand on my toes. Especially the temperature of the sand. Be that detailed.
Another option is a kind of yoga meditation. Close your eyes and breathe deeply. Your stomach should expand with each breath. Try to lengthen your breath. Empty your head of all thoughts. When thoughts come in don't get frustrated but acknowledge the thought for the length of one breath, in and out, and then let the thought go. Imagine you're putting it in a bank, keeping it away from yourself.
I have panic attacks all the time. These things definitely work for me. With any breathing exercise you should make sure your stomach expands first.
Hope that helps. Just remember everything is a memory and as hellish as this feels it can't hurt you.
