Wound Care Question - burns

so i have scars from burns on my arms, havnt for months, this particular burn scar is about....6 months old? or older, but as of very recently it has started to... i don't think blister is the right word, pimple? little red bumps ish,
i'm a compulsive skin picker so... kinda picked at those,
just wondering why a scar thats been 'stable' for months would suddenly get bumpy and wondering if thats 'normal'

I've been told burn scars take about 2 years to stabilise, mine mature and change over yeh, about 2 years, flat, bumpy, blistering, wrinkling, even turning brown. But if you're concerned, I would get it checked out.

Yep, the above post is correct and if you're picking at the area then it will take longer and the scar will worsen as you will disrupt the healing process which carries on mainly for 2 years but to be honest to some extent can be seen as a lifelong process. If it is a blister then it is best to not pop it and cover it with a plaster/ bandaid and keep it clean.
