Pay a shed load of money and join a tour/cruise. And then pay more and get yourself to the Falklands or somewhere near there. For some of the prices I've seen quoted you'd be cheaper buying your own boat and doing it yourself!
As far as I know, people usually go to Argentina and then fly to its most southern point and take a cruise to the Antarctic Peninsula, or they can go to New Zealand or Australia and take a flight over Antarctica and possibly a cruise. I know people who have travelled to Antarctica via Argentina.

Maybe that’s why they chose me, beacuase I am so adventurous! And it is wonderful because it is achievable and not jst a silly idea, I’ve wanted to go for aaaaages! Monnee monnee monneee.. I know the cameras will be there too but if millions ofpeople can live vicariously through me then that’s amazing and that’s why I’m going to do it regardless!

well you can do my job and have an opportunity to get paid to go!!!
outdoor education..... or you can do Antarctica studies in NZ and go as part of your course.... or you can look in NZ papers and on the ANTA support site (the name escapes me) and do menial maintenance jobs for part of the summer....
