lumps

hey i dont know if its importent to post on this, but i hav these lumps and they really hurt. they come and go and when they come OH MY CHRISTAMS they hurt.. i have been to the docs before and they didnt know what they were and im so worried and in pain iv had 2 big lumps before one in my neck and on in my brest but they got taken out but these lumps are small.. i have one on my side and 2 on my back and cos they are on my back they kill to walk but i have to still go to work.. anyone had anyhting like this before? XXXX

I think you should go back to your Doctor as soon as possible. This problem needs to be treated especially if you're in a lot of pain.

I've never had anything like this before, but as someone who has been directly affected by cancer, I can tell you that any "lump" on your body is serious. The best thing to do is to go and see a doctor and see what they think, and if you arent satisfied with them, get a second opinion. A few weeks can be the difference between minor, non-invasive surgery on a benign lump, and major, life-threatening problems. Just keep that in mind.

I can't say I've heard of anything like that. I would definately suggest going back to the docs though, if nothing else, they should be able to refer you to a specialist. Yeah - it can be a pain in the butt, but in the long run, we just want you bright and healthy again. In the meantime, take care of yourself and do as much as you can to limit any pain.

thanks everyone :).. will book to see the docs again, it wouldnt be so bad but they are on my back and when i sleep it kills and i just found another one on my arm :( XXX

Sort of. I'm prone to cysts and things. They pop up occasionally and can be quite painful depending on where they are. But essentially if in doubt get it checked out! Especially when it comes to lumps okies?

I haven't had lumps like that exactly. Go to your doctor and if they're not sure what they are, ask to be referred to a specialist or get a second opinion. The lumps I had didn't disappear. My doctor said they were a cyst and referred me to a specialist who found they were actually cancer. I'd definitely ask to see a specialist, just to make sure. As yours aren't always there I shouldn't think it would be anything sinister but it's best to make sure.

sorry to bring this up again but just an update... im still getting them and docs dont have a cluewhat they are... think they are stess lumps.. but they will never go untill i calm down... XXXXX
