Yeah agreed, could have happened to us but we got lucky and got bought my some Malaysians, hope they survive.
Well we stood so leg space wasn't a problem, and last year when I went we secured the playoffs so I didn't take notice of their fans, beside from when their kids threw coins at us haha :p
On our form I doubt it, Our gaffer plays Bellamy in centre mid ffs! Haha.
You seemed unlucky to lose against Qpr tbh, you have a too good squad to be around relegation.
Due to haing a good conversation about standing at football with Cory (Nevermind.)
Do you agree with mostly all stadiums seated?
Even though most teams do stand in the seated areas?
Personally
I go to Burton albions ground every year Derby vs Burton friendlies and we go in the standing end. Never had any problems what so ever part from standing area being full but because were virtually friends with the albion fans we were let into their area.
I think if the standing area can be controlled somehow do it. but not prem teams. Sometimes it brings in more atmosphere.

I agree with stadiums being at least half seated, but the fact they are all seater means fewer people can get in, increasing the price of tickets, pricing the ordinary working class person out of football. Every single away game I go to, I have been stood up for 90 minutes without any sort of trouble at all, and at Selhurst, in Block B they stand in the seating area anyway.
Hillsborough was caused by police negligence, and by the pathetic hooliganism of the 70s and 80s that led to the introduction of the high rise fences. I've stood for 90 minutes in the same end where those 96 people were killed, it was a sombre occassion to remember the events that occurred there.
You're right in that it can help to improve the atmosphere because if you are sitting down then it is much harder to sing/chant for 90 minutes non stop, I would know considering I do it every week on my lonesome in the family stand at selhurst but when you're standing A) more people can congregate in one area and B) you get more air in your lungs.
There is little hooliganism inside grounds nowadays, certainly not repeats of scenes like those just 2 weeks after Hillsborough when Birmingham fans came down to Palace and invaded the pitch (in fancy dress) and began pulling knives on people and beating the crap out of them. It's a very fine line to tread though, and the FSF are looking to get safe standing back, which I agree with, but it's never going to happen.
i'm currently debating going last home game of season.
£16.50 so not too bad but no one will be able to go with me lol
and welcome athlete
we have a few newcastle fans, Derby County crystal palace, coventry city, notts city, Cardiff city, arsenal, liverpool and Barcelona fans from what I can gather in here lol.
Martin Allen is a a delight. He puts on this massive act, but he is a clever man. In a previous club he told the local newspaper that he was going to the garden centre to get some new grass seeds as his grass is in a terrible condition and that he was looking for 2 rear growing trees - code for the ground staff need to do a better job on the pitch and we need to strong centre defenders.
Today there was an offer on 2-1 on tickets if you buy them before a certain time and Martin Allen drives past shouting "what are all you doing here at this time!" (hours before the game).
haha i miss that side of football where the manager is happy to take the piss out of the ground staff and players :P
