Nice to see Derek Llambias trying to get the toon on his and Mike Ashleys side by attacking what Alan Shearer said about not finding a replacement for Carroll. Llambias needs to be carefully picking a fight with a Toon Legend as he will soon find out that Shearer has backing of the fans. Time for them to sell up and feck off out of the toon

Barca /real final for the Copa del Rey !! Id love to go to it .Who can I rob to get there ?????

It became like a sort of prison. Encased in a silver shell, words so full of bleeding need spilled like drops on dry leaves. And all the while laughter prevailed a long way from here. Nowhere land, nowhere time, nowhere space.

Me too. Now we can see the teams play two more times, and they could also play in the champions league.

Imagine being at El Classico when Barca won 5-0 .Unreal ,but the flights had stopped by then ,had no chance of going.Id love to see a champions league match too.I cant see Real getting the league title this season even with Morinho at the helm .I was worried when I heard he was coming .They still played very well this season Real ,only for the last few games .
Two giants of football .
Hey just read a Man City former player died today ,never heard of him but .

What the bloody hell was what?
Shocking defending from Arsenal, Squillaci curse strikes again.
Sheer stupidity from Diaby, how was nolan not sent off for that headlock on Szczesny?

Unbelievable.

After the fourth goal, I just switched off the tele and decided to get some work done. Later i checked and saw 4-4. I thought no way!!!

I only saw the highlights, and didn't catch the nolan incident, but amazing comeback, the last goal was outstanding. Typical of Newcastle really, they can be amazingly good and absolutely shocking at the same time. It makes being a fan a real roller coaster ride.

Agreed but have to admit i lost faith after 26 mins of the game, Nolan should have walked as well no need for headlocks. But what a cracking game. Also we are the first prem team to come back from 4-0 i believe.

Record high for goals all round 41 scored in the prem yesterday.

Raul Mereiles has really shown what he could do since he's played as the link between the midfield & attack. Liverpool pressed well today when they didnt have the ball, passed well & knew when to try a killer ball in.
Chelsea had nothing meaningful happen today, the Drogba/Torres/Anelka partnership showed signs of clicking, but it will take a few games before it happens. David Luiz showed some bits of what he's capable off when he came on, he will do well in the Premiership. Still think Chelsea need a proper right back who can defend as well as attack if they are to mount a serious title challenge next year.

Real Madrid did well tonight. Cristiano Ronaldo fastest ever Real Madrid player to reach 50 goals tonight with 2, Kaka & Adebayor with the other two. 50 in 51 games for Cristiano now, absolutely ridiculous.

oh right !! The website I was on must not have been updated.
I hope Messi catches up with him.Messi had a slow start to the season ,but was on fire the other night.Fourth hattrick of the season.
Newcastle are the only team in the Premier League to come back from a 4-0 down disadvantage .Shows great spirit in a team.
looking forward to seeing Andy Carroll play whenever hes ready.
Wigan at home saturday ,cant wait .Kenny really put confidence back into Liverpool ,was reading today how Rafa tried to stop Xavi Alonso from going to the birth of his first child.Imagine ! He was never friendly with the team ,was very aloof from them ,very business like .

Yeah nice to see the passion after loosing our best striker and ameobi going out for 6 weeks days before.

Carroll is about 5 weeks off from being fit if not longer due the where the iinjury is it takes longer than most muscles to heal (is what we were told if its true who knows)

Champions League nearly upon us ! cant wait to see Barcelona play Arsenal on wednesday in the Emerites .Going to be great night of football.
Ireland beat Wales 3-0 tonight with fantastic goal from Man u's Darren Gibson ,straight into the net ,at leat 40 yards out .
I think Gibson premiered for them in a Champions League match ,hes proved to be a good player. No sign of Keane playing ,whats happening to him ,hes the captain ,Irelands old faithful.Id hate to see him leave International football.
I also thought Gareth Bale played for Wales ,but he wasnt playing tonight either .

We should so be in the nations cup i think its a mistake that we aren't in it after all he has to be more worthwhile than playing a pointless friendly tonight.

Bale pulled out because he was 'injured' along with 6/7 others who will of course play for their clubs Saturday. Apparently he wants to play for the GB Olympic team in 2012, but the Welsh Football Association doesn't want him to.

Poor performance yesterday, no surprise considering we're 112th in the fifa rankings. Cracking goal from Fletcher though.
