I've had two years worth of bad experiences on Valentines day. The first one, me and my LT boyfriend both mutually decided that wouldn't buy eachother presents or cards, because we had no money. So he turns up to my house, after us having had a massive but pointless argument the day before causing me to have an anxiety attack in a lesson at school (embarassing much) with three presents and a card. Which was lovely, I appreciated it. But he turned into a complete knob and had a massive go at me and made me cry and ended up calling me stupid for not buying him anything. He 'expected more' from his girlfriend. Ergh, rant about that over.

Next valentines day my parents told me they were getting a divorce.

This year? I'm gonna be my own valentines date, because I'm f***ing amazing and don't need anyone else to tell me otherwise! :)

Don't have another half this year. Although my ex did say he might get me something which I thought was pretty weird..
I think me and a friend are thinking about going out for dinner and then out for a few drinks, leaving the phone behind of course haha.

If i'm thinking of the same beach Nat lives by/used to live by good luck it is a nightmare in cold weather :P Look out for waves... They're sneaky them things...

I made my special person a photo album and a heart bracelet and bought something cute for her to hang up. I never go out on valentines cos its just too busy.

Me and the fella arent getting each other anything - mainly because we're broke and spend most of our time 250 miles away from each other.

This will be our second Valentine's day. Not really into it all that much though. Last year he put a photo album together of photos of us in order from when we met, was really sweet. And I made him cakes and got him a mug. This year I've knitted him a scarf (would rather give him something I've made than buy something really... Valentine's-y. And he's probably working anyway (he was last year, so was I) so we're probably not doing much.

I always thought V day was a ****ing waste of time/money. However, now that I am with the boy of my dreams, I want to use the day to go out and have a wonderful night with him and that's exactly what I'm going to do.

I'm going to go to a packed Valentine's Day themed expensive restaurant and then have a few drinks in another expensive Valentines Day themed club and then we're going to go back to my house, we're going to light some candles and make it a night to remember.

I dare anyone to judge me for it.
