Triggering (SI) - triggering friend

my friend has been doing this thing were she acts like she I talking about me right behind my back. I will turn around and she will start to whisper to another friennd and when I turn back around they start laughing. She also never stands up for me to her other friends even though she has know me longer than all of them. When ever I am around her she bringes me down and makes me want to si sooooo badly. I only hang out with her cuz she knows alot of things about me and she is at times a good friend. She triggers me even though she is the one telling me not to cut.
should I stay friend with her or not. sorry if this was a waist of your time.

I found that those kind of people are only "good friends" when you're hanging out alone. So maybe only hang out if it's going to be just you and her. If not, try and avoid her, but don't be mean about it. You deserve better.

I don't want to judge too much because I don't know what you have been through with this girl. However she doesn't really sound like a proper friend. To be honest, real friends will be there for you through thick and thin, not just part time. So its up to you really whether you want to continue your friendship. Maybe you could just chill out from her for a while? You do deserve better than this :)

i had a friend like that. she was my only friend. she didnt like it when i made other friends. i dont talk to her anymore. yeah, she knew enough to blackmail me with, and yeah, she could be nice at times, but she treated me like a sidekick and blatently did this to the point where people commented.

just cut the bad friends out of your life.

I think you've figured out that the friendship isn't really helpful and is actually kind of destructive. I'm not a person for frequently holding grudges or rejecting friends but there are times where you need to consider whether a friendship is actually worth hanging on to and it's ok if the answer is no. I had a friend at school who made me feel like total sh*t and when I realised that I decided that there was no point in trying to stay friends after leaving school, I don't need someone else to make me feel like that. I think it's the same for you, you really don't need someone in your life who is causing you misery. It's horrible to let go of a friend but it doesn't sound like she's being a very good one. Find someone who is a genuine friend :)

Thx 4 the help. i have decided to stay friends with her but not at school cuz that is when she acts liks that. I will keep her at my fingertips. And to epicfailgirl she has a lot of things on me to blackmail me with and she knows how to use it so ya.

thats why nothing happened over the girl i went to school with. sure, she knows my life story, but i know hers ;)
