Vets general is short for veterans general, which is one of our boards. If you scroll down the main forums page, there's veterans general and support, but we all shorten it to Vets because it's shorter and easier to say and type
I agree, it's quite easy, but I know a lot of people struggle to start off with, so it's great that you're finding it easy
Don't worry about hiding anything here, we're only here to help you I know how you feel about not wanting to ruin the image with your friends, and I don't blame you. Personally, I let people think what they like of me, because my image... never really existed, lol. What I mean is tell us what brought you here (yeah, I know we're a self harm support website, so it's fairly self explanatory lol, but there's also EDs and Mental health stuff, as well as abuse and bullying support.)

The first night I joined I went in the chat's.. when it closed at 11 pm.. it was really good. It kept me sober & busy to think about anything else :) which was amazing. I was on yesterday morning it was a bit slow.. no one was really on but I wrote a lot of comments in the forums. Today I'm in the chat's again.. speaking to a few new people, but it's quite slow, boring & I got into an argument already with LoneStar.
My friend's can think anything they like of me, I'm not a people pleaser at all.. I just don't want my friend's to know mine & my family's business, really private stuff you know. Well with my imagine there's a lot at stake, I mean, I don't think people would fall out with me - I would always have friend's but I just don't want them to know all of my family's problem's, I'm sure lot's of my friend's are the same & i don't know it.
I don't get bullied or anything, I wouldn't let anyone bully me. I don't know, I have an eating disorder I guess, maybe. I suppose I may be addicted to alcohol a little bit and 'paracetamol, codine & caffine' tablet's..

I like the Chat Room's...not today though, I have been on since 8 am, and already fell out with 2 people :( so not fun.
I wrote a post about SH because I felt like cutting after falling out today in chat. :/
It was awful fighting with people :( I really don't like it. Now I feel more depressed than ever, but I'm in serious chat they are talking about anorexic which i don't want to read about lol so I'm replying to some people's forum's which is kind of fun.
