I am currently:

Triggering (SI) - I already have so many scars and Im only 14
Im 14 years old and started Si'ing about 4-5 months ago. I have many scars, many of which are noticable. yes, I have counted them and I have almost 200 scars/cuts, them consisting on my leg and arm. The scars on my arm run from the wrist to where the elbow bends. And on my legs they're in a lot of places, but the majority of them are in this one spot. My friends who have/ or do cut ( I only know of 3 and they're my closest) tell me that i am worse than many people. Is any body else like this? Is this normal? I know SI isnt normal but Im talking about how many I have in such a short time. idk.

But I mean, there really is no "normal" when it comes to this. Everyone is different. I think it depends on how deep they are, what triggers you, etc...
Also, if it's the scars themselves that are bothering you, keep in mind that they will fade in time... it'll take a lot of time, but they'll fade.

It's very variable between people. I also think that the 'number' or 'severity' is actually a bit irrelevant when it comes to assessing the severity of mental health issues. But, if you are concerned about the amount you have, maybe you could try and decrease the amount you are self-harming?
