Stuck in a queue on the M6 on my way home, worried my petrol was going to run out before I got home, when I heard the van to the right of me hooting its horn. Looked over and there were some lads waving at me, holding a sign saying "hi sexy!"
I mean, I know they were just waving it at any woman for laughs, but it gave me a smile and cheered up an otherwise pretty unpleasant and long drive home!
I found my favourite paintbrush, which I thought I'd lost a few weeks ago :)
Now I'll play your ghost as my ace, whenever I'm led astray.
But I am actually good, can't help it if we're tilted.
I'm in my right place, don't be a downer.
Being with my psychologist and making her laugh a lot knowing she had had a stressful afternoon and generally having a nice and constructively helpful conversation.
When I first went in..
Psychologist: "It's been one hell of an afternoon"
Me: "How does that make you feel?"
Psychologist: "Stressed"
Catherine - wow!
Next question - "and what's it like to feel stressed?"!!!
What made my day was the IT manager fitting scanners on stands to our pcs in the office. Until you've scanned ISBNs and barcodes on shedloads of books with ye olde hand held scanner that weighs a tonne, you don't know how much a relief a standing scanner is!
Oh, and getting some help from my homeopath when I most needed it.
My little brother making me breakfast in bed while my parents are away! How many 16 year old guys would do that? :)
That is so sweet.
I'm really trying to think.
Ermmm... getting the last eclair at work? And it was Weightwatchers but it didn't taste like paper! Shock horror. Three of us had a long and detailed discussion on this topic.
And reliving a work party on Saturday night, laughing at various incidents. Thank goodness I didn't drink!
