I am currently:
General Medical Question - Non Urgent - Bad Headaches..

I've always been getting headaches occasionally, but in about the last few weeks I've been getting them every day, not neccessarily all day, but on and off for the whole day, or sometimes I wake up with one and it gets progressivly worse throughout the whole day. Ibuprofen doesn't seem to work very well and Paracetamol doesn't work at all.

For the last few weeks I've been feeling very depressed and also been getting quite stressed about things. Do you think the headaches are because of the stress? Or could it be something else?

Also, is there anything I can do about it, because none of the bog standard pain killing drugs seem to work.

Conceal me what I am, and be my aid for such disguise as happilly shall become the form of my intent..

...Everybody is somebody else's weirdo.

"we could mix all three, the two gendered and the one non-gendered, "she", "he", and "it", to make "shi...". No, nevermind, that won't work either..."

It sounds like it could be tension headaches, but it really depends where you're feeling it. With tension headaches, they're more apt to be in the upper part of your neck, and the very back of your head. Though if you get nauseous or dizzy, and if the pain travels down through your arms and back, it could be migraines that you're having. I've suffered with migraines for years, and it's horrible, so I really hope that's not the case for you.

Have you tried Excedrin? They have 'Excedrin Tension Migraine' now in some stores, and I've been told it's a little better then Ibprofen or Advil. Sometimes if you take it early on (when you feel them starting) it can deafen the pain a little.

I'm sorry I couldn't be more help, I've went to the doctor for my migraines and nothing they've given me has worked so far. Well, aside Demerol, but it's not even my prescription, it was my uncles, lol. I hope that you get to feeling better soon. I know from experience how shitty you must be feeling, and I really hope they're not migraines :/ Take care.--Britt

It may be worth you reading the headaches article

Do you take in plenty of water? Or do you purge/ overuse or abuse laxatives? How's your eating? Not having enough energy can cause headaches. Dehydration, even at a low level, can cause headaches that aren't aided with meds so drinking more fluids may help.

Have you got any other symptoms?
