General Medical Question - Urgent - Antibiotics

Is it ok to just stop antibiotics...they are Co- amoxiclav.

They are making me feel so ill....

ever since I started taking them

I feel like im constantly going to throw up
I feel dizzy
I cant stop peeing
and I have a rash

So I just want it to stop.

If you stop taking antibiotics without completing the course, they will not clear any infection you have been given them for. Even if the infection appears to be gone now, having not completed the course means it will most likely come back.

However, as you have had such a reaction, it is best to call NHS Direct or your GPs and get the prescription changed to an alternative antibiotic.

never stop any meds without speaking to your doctor.

I got this off co-amoxiclav.

See your dr as soon as. I switched to a diff antibiotic that didnt make me feel like that!

You need to speak to your doctor about this.
If you stop taking them your infection wont clear up and might come back worse.
Your doctor can change you to a differnt med.

If you stop taking them, your infection may come back and become resistant to the antibiotics you're taking. Speak to your doctor becuase it seems you're experiencing pretty nasty side effects. There should be some alternative antibiotics you can try that shouldn't give you the same side effects.
