For some reason I have started listening to Aaron Carter again. I know hes not a very good thing for people to know about it it could be social suicide. But hes not that bad.
owh, i used to loave Aaron Carter when i was younger. His first album is so cheesy, but oh so good. Haha. =]
Currently my favourites would have to be Frank Turner, Dredg, Emery, Manchester Orchestra..
It's so easy to get lost in constantly having to present
whatever face you believe a person wants to see rather than your own
Erm, i've had the same favourites for years..but recently i've been listening to alot of Florence + the Machine, Regina Spektor and the yeah yeah yeahs.
Anaal Nathrakh just got back from one of there gigs Awful getting up there and worse getting back but so worth it. Showed them my tattoo, shaked their hands, went 110% mad and meet some cool people.
I'm fairly happy for once it won't last, even so I'm good for now.
Going by the thread title.. MUSICIANS I'm going to list a few, as musicians are not a band, they are individual people that make up a band.
- Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails)
Trent Reznor is an absolute legend in the music industry a pioneer and pretty much the sole contributor in making Industrial Metal mainstream. Known mainly as a vocalist he is a multi instrumentalist playing common and obscure instruments alike.
- Mick Kenney (Anaal Nathrakh, Mistress)
This man is such a talent known in the Black Metal scene for his blistering and grinding riffs and his thundering clean riffs. He is also known for contributing all the music for the studio albums of Anaal Nathrakh. Including Guitars, Bass and Drums.. The man is the definition of musician.
- Jerry Cantrell (Alice in Chains)
With riffs thick with texture and complexity this man pretty much sums up Grunge, ignore what Nirvana did and what Soundgarden wanted you to believe was Grunge. Jerry Cantrell the songwriter and lead guitarist in Alice in Chains sums up the whole genre. The guitars sludge and grind with pure intensity this is a man with talent and highly regarded on the pro circuit above the likes of James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett.
- David Sandstrom (Refused)
Any Lostprophets fans out there? If yes this man whether he was playing guitar or drums is the reason Lostprophets debut album rocked so much. Refused the leading influence on Lostprophets early sound was spearheaded by this man. He is an absolute rock god, choosing to infuse Hardcore Punk with much more Thrash Metal/Death Metal influences. Great band and great musician.
- Mike Patton (Faith No More, Fantomas, Mr Bungle, Tomahawk)
Mike Patton is the most versatile vocalist on this Earth, there is not one single person that comes close. This man can sing, scream and growl. He will touch any vocal style imaginable and even make some up along the way. This man has been in bands ranging from Alternative Metal, to Funk Rock and Noise Metal he's done it all.. He's a legend.
- Rob Swire (Pendulum)
Also known as the lead singer and main synth guy in Pendulum he plays a Ztar live which is a synthetic guitar to you and me, it is what makes all those great sounds the band produce while playing live. He is a great talent and the obscure instrument of choice makes him compelling enough to put here.
