Every time you beat one, you win, and it will get a tiny bit easier to beat the next time, even if it doesn't feel like it...
Can you try calming yourself down, rather than distractions... one I use, that hurts, is to lie on my stomach with ice cubes lined up down my spine, listening to my favorite music, and you have to stay absolutely still until they all melt. Or do deep breathing, and focus on it... or chocolate... or take a bath... something to relax you. Cause distractions only work so long.
