Triggering (SI) - Is sunburned scars bad..?

basicly...i worry bout my scar' burning in the sun or gettng any level of sunburn so i cover them up so they dont get sun burned


but basicly i am curious


is it bad if scars get sunburned..?

I am currently:

I'm not sure if I've ever had scars sunburned... I don't think it's bad but it could be damaging if they get really sunburned and blister, which isn't good scars or not.

I'd say you should be fine with sunscreen... but I'm not the expert.

I am currently:

Scar tissue is more sensitive then your normal skin, and so it gets damaged easier and more severely by the sun. So it's kind of bad. As long as you keep them covered, you should be fine.

I am currently:

Ive had mine burnt once before - looked like a red zebra - my skin burnt and the scars did 100% worse.



Thought I oughta bare my naked feelings
Thought I oughta tear the curtain down
I held the blade in trembling hands
Prepared to make it but just then the phone rang
I never had the nerve to make the final cut

nah not infected at all - just a little more burnt that rest of my skin so they appeared darker than the rest of me.
