They are amazing. The series is a kids' cartoon about a group of young dinosaurs who get into all sorts of adventures. The first one is made by George Lucas and Steven Spielberg!
I've loved this series ever since I was six years old and I recently bought all the films on DVD!
I think there are a total of 13 Land Before Time films, but another one may be coming out this year, and one series with 15 episodes (could be wrong though)
I loved the fourth (?) one, where Littlefoot's Grandpa got ill, and they had to go in search of the night flower to make him well again, and Spike says his first word ^_^

The 3rd film is my fave, where the water stops flowing into the Great Valley and Littlefoot and the gang have to go in search of water. It's called The Time Of The Great Giving.

omg.... great times:) I used to love this when I was little, had all the videos and watched them all the time! Some were scary though but I loved this series so much:D

You can buy a whole DVD set for under £22... I got mine for £19 at http://www.amazon.co.uk and it included all the films that had been released up until 2003 (1-11). If you buy the DVDs in the set separately, it would come to about £50. So it's a good buy. (You have to get 12 and 13 as an addition to the set because they're not included, but they're relatively cheap so you still pay under £30 for every movie.)
But if you don't live in the UK, I'm sure you could find it elsewhere... on another online store or something. I'm loving watching them all over again! I've watched the first 3 films today.
I watched #7 all the time when I was little (not cos there was anything amazing about it; cos that was the only one we had :P) and I loved it! The tall dinosaur who bit a piece out of the sky really scared me though :( I had nightmares about it! xxxx
