i didnt rate it much to be honest. It used shock tactics (such as razor blades and scars), and its the total opposite of whats needed. She was nice enough, but to me it wasnt anything new and similar to others that have been equally as bad.
hmm I'm undecided as to whether to watch it on iplayer. will I actually gain anything from watching it or will I just end up getting a bit upset from the images?

IF i'm honest, you don't learn much new. If you're like me who does research in to self-harm etc you'll be hearing stuff you already knew, and this is backed up by people stories here on RYL, especially the bit about the doctors. It's an interesting watch, but take care if you think you'll be easily triggered =] x

i wasnt that impressed with it. i think its such a complex topic an hour discussing it isnt going to do alot. i didnt feel i gained anything from it, and im unsure it would have helped my parents understand had they seen it
