Triggering (SI) - Legality
Just wondering what the law in the UK is for carrying concealed blades?
i suddenly realised that as i always have a blade on me it might be illegal?
btw i'm not encouraging illegal activity at all so ... yeah just wondering what the law is?
I don't exactly carry it with intent to harm anybody (including myself while i'm out, it just makes me feel better having it around)

I dreamed I was missing, you were so scared.
But no-one would listen, cos no-one else cared

I don't think it's illegal to carry a blade as such.
From what I've read, knives aren't allowed (obviously) but swiss army knives are if the blade is under 7.62cm long.
It doesn't say anything about carrying a razor blade to be illegal.

I take [tool] to school as well...I've never really thought how bad that is. oops. Maybe I should take them out. I'm scared now :S After thinking about it...I don't think I could go to school with nothing. I'd just end up taking something from school to use imstead. At least I know where my [tools] have been and that there clean etc.

I don't think that there are any laws against razor blades... I mean, people can have pocket knives/Swiss army knives for certain reasons.
As long as you aren't obvious about it, or as long as you don't display it in a way that looks like you're intending to harm someone (including yourself), you SHOULD be fine.
I wouldn't worry too much, but if it really scares you, then I guess... better safe than sorry. It's up to you.
Sometimes I keep a razor blade in a pocket in my wallet, but I usually don't bring a tool with me.

I've taken tools to school before. Plus when I'm out and about as well. I have been asked by teachers before to give them my blades but I've refused. The teachers know I always carry something on me. Though never gotten into trouble. xo.

you can get in trouble i think there is only so many times that you can be warned about it .
tbh its not the best idea to carry a tool on you any way .
since i was charged with having a tool on me i will not in anyway carry any thing that can be seen as a wepon ...

From what I can tell, it's only legal to carry a folding knife with a blade that's under 3 inches, and it looks like knife blades and razors and such aren't allowed. But all the laws on it have a "common sense" provision that basically says that it's fine if there's a good reason that you have it, and it's not to use as a weapon, then it's fine.
