When I was 16, nothing prior to that age, I was a crafts kinda person so I always had blades around. A million little things went wrong and after a particularly long drinking session at home getting more angry with myself I jst snapped and got a little slash-happy. I started smoking about the same time and would occasionally stub.
I started cutting at 13 and was depressed from 6. I'm now 35 and both still figure heavily all the time.

hmm started cutting when i was 14, and just like you i dont really remember what it was that made me start, just what made me continue.

started cutting when i was 13. I'd been doing self destructive things my whole life though. I can't really imagine a life without some kind of self destruction. =/
Ive allways bitten my fingers /thumbs
the skin , as long as i know, and still do
but i started my cutting later in life when i was around 38 - 39 years old
so a late developer i guess
im now 42 im an old dragon
