Maybe that argument isn't valid. Maybe it's not enough to say she was raped but wasn't 'raped raped' (thank you Whoopi Goldberg for that one)

Maybe it isn't right to make any excuses when anyone commits any crime against another human, wherever we personally feel it falls on the 'trauma scale'. Maybe that scale is subjective. Maybe that scale would shift if it was someone you knew.
Maybe Judy Finnigan, and everyone else in the public eye, should realise your words have an impact, however ignorant you are. And maybe, one day, you will find the decency, to shut the fuck up.
