Hi, I know urges can be so hard to beat sometimes! Do you know why you want to? As in, is there anything particularly triggering you right now?
Best thing I can advise in these situations is to find some replacement techniques: Hold some ice cubes, snap an elastic band on your wrist and such like.
you could also try Distraction - read a book, go for a walk, play a computer game, go into Fun & Distractions. Anything to take your mind off how you are feeling
EDIT: I just thought as well, is the only reason you don't want to cut so that your family and friends don't get mad at you? I know this is a really common feeling amongst self harmers but I think you might be more successful if you found a reason to quit for yourself. Do these things for you, not for other people....try and think of all the things that not cutting would do for your life *hugs*
