Huge Tornado Video

The US southern states got hit by huge storms, floods and tornadoes a couple days ago. 250 people killed so far. One person captured a tornado on video (in Alabama). The tornado was latter deemed to be between a mile and a half mile wide at various points. Vid gets more intense as tornado approaches person filming

Wooow brave people for filming. My heart goes out to all effected, it really does seem like alot of natural disasters are happening recently.

I wish we had awesome Tornadoes like this in the UK. My dreams of being a storm chaser amount to just following rain clouds and drizzle at the moment

Some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money.
They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with.
Some men just want to watch the world burn.

All destruction aside, that tornado looks wicked cool! Very neat.

Whoever filmed that is either v brave or v stupid but either way, kudos.

See I cannot feel this, not matter how you try and in the real world, there's no goodbyes.

I saw the damage of one areas on the news last night. A woman stood on the ruble of her house and cried while explaining how much she lost. So many photos, and irreplacable, sentimental items passed down to her from her mother. I felt so bad for her. She had nothing left at all.
It also seemed a little weird that this was shown between never-ending royal wedding coverage, explaining how luxurious, expensive, and perfect everything would be. Kind of like saying "meanwhile, in the US..."

Giving up doesn't always mean you're weak.
Sometimes it just means you're strong enough to let go.

Tornadoes are fun to watch when they are banging around in empty places. I'm sure glad I don't have to worry about being hit by one though. Here are some pics of damage from the tornado in video

I used to live in Illinois where there were tornadoes every year. We never had ones anywhere near that bad when I lived there. I remember being scared as a child hiding in the basement when the tornado sirens were going off. Luckily nothing ever hit us, although a bowling alley in my town lost its roof. My heart goes out to those people in the south. It is a poor area of the country and many people don't have the ability to rebuild on their own.

Now I live in kalifornia, and we only need to worry about monster earthquakes, wildfires, and people crazier than me on freeways.
