You've probably seen all the X men movies, but if not they are excellent!

ESPECIALLY Lesbian Vampire Killers.
It is amazing, on par with Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter. Movies like these give me hope that maybe, just maybe, vampires can recover from Twilight.

Haha , I agree , We need a wave of brilliant dark creepy vamprie films to wash away the horrible disgusting repulsive memory that is ... Twilight
*shudders*

ok ok probably not what you're looking for... but it's still fantasy!

As a little kid you believed in fairytales,
that fantasy of what your life would be: white dress; prince charming who would carry you away to a castle on a hill.
You closed your eyes and had complete and utter faith.
Eventually you grow up. One day you open your eyes and the fairy tale disappears.
But the thing is, it's hard to let go of that fairytale entirely because almost everyone has that smallest bit of hope, of faith,
that one day they will open their eyes and it will come true.

Benji, you suggested all the movies I was going to suggest, haha :D

But here's a few more:

Edward Scissorhands (probably already seen that, but it's still awesome)
Hook
Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within
Big Fish
Wristcutters: A Love Story (set in sort of a fantasy world, anyway)
Mystery Men (more of a superhero parody)
The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen

^^^ Yeah, going off those and Johnny, we may be distant cousins! D=

I forgot Tank Girl. You may have to walk through the very fires of Hell to get your hands on a copy, but it's worth every obscure step to get it.

I got Tank Girl. I cant believe it. It was two dollars in a record exchange store. I dont even have a VCR to play the tape on, but I had to buy it anyway. I hope someone, somewhere is a collector willing to pay a million dollars for it.

i could call a daisy a rose,
i could even paint it to look like a rose,
but it still wont be a rose,
for a daisy is a daisy,
and a rose is a rose.

Dracula dead and loving it ( a vampire comdey )

Cujo ( a Stephen king book turned movie)

Bed time Stories was rubbish.
I guess you like king films then.

The orphanage is good if you can cope with sub titles (from the same director as pans labyrinth). I also watched orphan last week which was fairly good (horror type)

Eva. Gone, but never forgotten 27.3.10

Little Miss Sunshine! I love it.
Have you seen any of the Hammer Horror films? They are incredibly dated and corny now but they have protrayed Dracula and Frankenstein well, in my opinion anyway.
I can't think of any right now, I'll get back to you.

And you say I only hear what I want to.
