As an openly queer person I found one of my biggest mistakes was coming out before I was ready. You really need to accept and embrace who you are. That way if people try to cast a shadow of doubt on you for any reason, you can be secure in your identity. I let people pressure me into coming out and it caused headaches for a long time. I doubted myself. Take as much time as you need. We'll be here go support you.

Be confident in who you are and what you like! I made sure I was completely comfortable with myself before I came out to my parents. It was super easily after I realized I am who I am, whether they accepted it or not. And if they didn't accept it, I wouldn't apologize for being me and I wouldn't slow down or change for them.
Take your time. You'll know when the time is right x

I think everyone has given good advice so far! Definitely make sure you feel confident and secure in yourself, and maybe surround yourself with positive like-minded people before you come out, as a support system. I have a group chat with other friends so I know they're all there to help each other esp when coming out. Take as much time as you need to explore your own identity but know you're not alone <3
