If you're intentionally burning yourself to cause harm then it is classed as self harm.

Scar tissue isn't elastic so when it's cold the muscle tightens and pulls the scar tissue causing pain. I use a hot water bottle for the pain.

You don't intend on hurting yourself so it's not self harm. Might help to ask your doctors to prescribe something stronger for the eczema?
