Don't listen to your friend. It's as simple as that really, you know that you want help and are seeking it and that's all that counts. I had a friend make the same sort of comment to me and it really infuriated me too but on reflection I can see that he said it in the heat of the moment and didn't really know what he was on a bout at all.
Just because you haven't become happy doesn't mean you aren't trying. You're showing alot of strength just by trying. Maybe when you are feeling calm you could talk to your friend and explain how bad their comment made you feel.

You don't have to justify yourself to anyone though, nor do you have to care what they think.

I think your friend is falling into the common missconception of help = happy. A lot of people expect that if you get help, well then that's that and you're fine because you have help. And if you aren't getting better than obviously you're not trying hard enough.
Please don't listen to things like this, you're doing really well in fighting to recover. You should be really proud in the steps you've taken in getting yourself help and getting better.
It's very difficult for people without mental health problems to understand the time and strength it takes to get yourself better. You are doing very well sweety!
Sorry I'm not very good at advice right now love, but take care of yourself and stay safe
