Ok, so i've just seen the Staff Listings page (alright, it was pointed out to me) and there's a list of Supporters (well, Emma currently), is this list going to be expanded to include all the Supporters names?
Just asking because there could be an influx of PM's/emails to those listed from members wanting support, if the Supporters were to be listed, other than Emma of course who's recognised as head of the department.
Question; Do the members of the eZine get a space there too?

I know I dont mind getting extra PMs for support maybe it is something that you can put to the others when they all arrive - it might also take a little pressure off Emma just a thought
If you go to the bottom of the forum listings, it's there somewhere. :]

On the main forum page, where all the boards are shown, at the bottom there's the part that lists everyone who's online. Just above that, is the link for "View RYL Staff Listings" on the blue bar above where it says What's Going On? =)
Personally, I don't think adding a list of the supporters would be a wise idea. You see, it isn't a supporters' role to support members through private message and on the forum (although, that is something that has been promoted recently!), which is why it's been advised that supporters don't put the title of their position as the customer user title.
This is for two main reasons; a) it puts way too much pressure on the shoulders of supporters, and it may get to a stage where they're almost forced to support when they're not in a state to, and b) because it may discourage other members from posting supportive replies as they don't feel they are good enough as they're not supporters.
This is all explained in past threads on the old board, if you want more information etcetera and was something that was decided before the first supporters were even found. I've always been named as a supporter because I deal with the organisation side of things, as well as having members PM me to become supporters, and so that really isn't going to change on this new forum. I'm not worried about being under pressure; it's when I work best.
That's reassuring to know actually that the list wont be added, the plan of not naming Supporters (aside from yourself, Emma) always seemed the best idea, i wont reiterate why because you summed it up so well.
Was out of confusion i have to admit that i posted, because the Supporters had always maintained a certain stance of anonymity and so for there then to be a - possible - list of Supporters was disconcerting.
Supporters aren't actually meant to be on the Staff listings.
it is really only there for those people who you might need to contact directly. For teams like eZine, Supporters etc it is much better that message goes to a shared email inbox that can be picked up by anyone - and in those cases they do not need to be on the Staff page
Accurate list of people on the eZine?
I haven't got a clue.
Er.
