Is there some sort of disorder that would explain why I create "stories" in my head? They are not based off any personal experiences whatsoever, but can happen in reality. I've never told anyone about them, fear of being judged as crazy, weird, ect. It's been suggested I have depression, some form of anxiety, and dissociation. Never been to a doctor for these things though. Don't know if it's just me that makes these disturbing stories or if there is reason behind it or if I'm overreacting. Any suggestions appreciated. x
And I'm pulling for you to push through this feeling
And with a little time that should do the healin'
And by tomorrow you may even feel so good that you're willing
To forgive them even after all that s*** you been put through
This feeling of resilience is building and the flames are burning
Quick as fire would through this building, you're sealed in
But you're fireproof, flame retardant; you withstood it.

Only a doctor can suggest to you certain disorders, and ultimately diagnose you with them. To me, it sounds like normal daydreaming, but I may be misunderstanding what you're saying.
But they're kinda about murders & other things along those lines..
I know only doctors can diagnose anything, just was curious.
Thanks. x

"Normal" people often have pretty strange things going on in their heads too! It's only a problem if you can't tell the difference between whether they are real or just imaginings. It's not that clear from your post - do they seem "real" to you? (i.e not just vivid, but that they are taking place in the outside world)
It very much depends on what you mean by stories. Are they happening at the time, do they feel real, when you say they can happen - is it tempting to act them out.
As has been said before, only a Dr or Psych can diagnose, so if it is something that is worrying you, or you feel uncertain about it, it would pay to speak to them and see what they say.
Some level of creativity, imagination and story making are normal. It is how it affects you, and if you are able to seperate it from reality that can make the difference between 'normal' and 'not'.
If the Human brain were so simple that we could understand it, we would be so simple that we wouldn't.
^ Yeah, I agree with rioben. Best to talk to a doctor/psych if you're worried. From what you've said though, I wouldn't say that it sounds too unusual. (I make up some pretty crazy/demented stories in my head too.)
i do a lot of fantasizing in my head...sometimes even intrusive thoughts about things that happen to my loved ones. ... i kind of think it's an OCD thing with the intrusive thoughts.
Did you watch Obsessed yet? What you're saying reminds me of the 34 year old woman on there.
If you're worried about it, I think you should see a dr/psych.
She needs a reason to parade on. She needs a new road to pave.

i "imagine" some horrible stuff sometimes, really bad things like happening to my family etc.. then i wish i would have never thought them and my mind cant stop thinking about it after
i always thought it was normal, dont know though
i would go to a dr\psyc if your worried!!
