Ideas for my banquet dress??

Well I have my banquet for the dance team in two weeks and I don't know what kind of dress to get. It's a formal affair. Ahh!! What color should it be? Should it have sparkles? Should it be strapless? A halter? Spaghetti stap?? Ideas please. (: Much thanks. xx

What suits you? Do you suit strapless? Or spaghetti straps? Etc. Think about what will be comfortable as well, you don't want to have to be constantly hiking the dress up all night. It's really about what will look good and what you like :) If you're in Britain, shops like Debenhams and John Lewis and House of Fraser have really nice dress selections, try having a look there. The staff are usually very helpful as well :D If you like jewellery, a plainer dress that can be jazzed up with accessories can be good. If you're not so into jewellery and would just have a simple necklace or nothing at all, you can go for a fancier dress! Sorry if this isn't much help, I think the best advice I can give is to wear something you love and feel beautiful in. Sometimes you put on a dress and just know! :D

How formal do you mean by formal though? I just mean that lots of sparkles might be overkill if it isn't too formal.

I think, if you like bright colors, that could be a nice, summery fun option! If not, there's the classics like black and white that you can dress up. Strapless can be pretty, but I know I always have to keep adjusting strapless things when I wear them. A halter or spaghetti straps can be more comfortable.

I don't know how much money you have to spend, but Charlotte Russe or Forever 21 can be good for inexpensive ones.... if you want to spend more money, I like stuff like Macy's or the little shops in shopping malls. Nordstrom's also has some has some dresses in their teen department which are comparable in price to Macy's.

I find what's best is to go and try on a whole bunch of things and see what you like!

Thank you for all of your help and support. I will no longer be coming to RYL. Semi-explanation will be inside my profile.
