People react differently. I only managed it for a couple of days, as it made me too tired and I struggled to keep working.
Hope it works for you x

what is the brand name for it? i've taken the following antidepressants: prozac (bad experience), wellbutrin (fairly good), zoloft (on it now, some side effects but nothing serious), celexa (no noticeable effect), and lexapro (that one gave me bad mood swings but nothing too serious). can you ask your pharmacist more about it? i'm not sure which one you're talking about.

Made me way too tired, I started it last week but have given up! The first night I took it I slept 16 hours! I would feel really drugged in the morning, and very forgetful. I also found myself moving slower. I could probably put up with this as it goes away after a few weeks, but the drug also causes terrible weight gain so I decided it wasn't worth it. I posted a similar thread last week, and there are some people on here that it worked wonders for, so give it a go! x

It will make you incredibly, incredibly tired for a couple of weeks. This goes away, honest.

For me it was wonderful, it completely took away my depression but I gained a lot of weight.

I was on it for a while... I still wasn't sleeping well during the night but felt very sedated and out of it during the day, and gained quite a bit if weight. It didn't help with my depression.

But yeah, it all depends on the person, really. Hope it goes well for you x

Make sure that you take it just before you are planning on going to sleep, as you have already seen how drowsy it makes you feel. I too had quite a bit of weight gain. I hope you find the medication helpful. Take care.

I put it down on paper and then the ghost does not ache so much.

^^ Yep. Take it just before bed, it helps.

I'm on mirtazapine and i take it before bed so it helps me sleep but you get used to it after a couple of weeks and the drowsiness isn't too bad. I don't notice it at all any more. It really helped me when i first started taking it and i didn't gain any weight with it.
