So, with UCAS done and dusted a while ago for us British lot (I don't know other countries system, sorry!), and me (finally) sorting out my accomodation for next year, I got to wondering, where is everyone going (whatever country you're in)? Nervous/excited? are you going this year or have you decided to defer your entry and take a gap year?
I know there is a uni students thread, but i figured that we;re not technichally uni student yet :P and i didn't want to hijack the thread.
My firm choice is Cardiff, insurance is Oxford Brookes.

If I get the grades:
University of Exeter (firm) or University of Nottingham (insurance)
to study Theology.... (sorry had to bold that to mark my territory - it's such an unknown subject!)
I'm excited... but at the same time REALLY SCARED of leaving the school I've been at for 7years! Oh and panicky about meeting new people! And not too sure about the course I chose....!

Reason: missed out a bit!
As a little kid you believed in fairytales,
that fantasy of what your life would be: white dress; prince charming who would carry you away to a castle on a hill.
You closed your eyes and had complete and utter faith.
Eventually you grow up. One day you open your eyes and the fairy tale disappears.
But the thing is, it's hard to let go of that fairytale entirely because almost everyone has that smallest bit of hope, of faith,
that one day they will open their eyes and it will come true.
I'm going to Glasgow Caledonian University to do social sciences :)
If you had asked last week, i would replied with nerves...BUT i'm actually so excited. Of course still a little nervous and anxious, but can't wait for a new environment and new people other than those from school.
I wont officially be applying till september but I want to go to Canterbury Christchurch in kent and insurance Brighton.x
There are times to stay put, and what you want will come to you.
But there are times to go out into the world and find such a thing for yourself.
I aint no abacus but you can count on me.
I'm unsure of whether i should be posting in this thread as i'm just finishing my first year of university, but i just wanted to wish you all the best of luck. It may seem really scary at first but you really do settle into the uni lifestyle really quickly, and making friends is really not a problem as everyones thrown together and is in the same position!
Also purple rain, i'm at cardiff university so if you want to know anything at all just let me know.
& Being again. Nice choice of course. I do social sciences too! it's amasing! =).

I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell. I know, right now you can't tell. But stay a while and maybe then you'll see A different side of me Unwell - Matchbox 20

okay, so I shouldn't be posting here either, but I just wanted to say that I'm at Birmingham and it's ace, you'll love it, especially in summer, and you'll soon become a mason lounge addict, cause the music department is in the arts building, where all the cool kids hang out!
