Stickies.

This is just a thread to satisfy my own curiosity really! Whenever I read people asking for a thread to be stickied I nearly always say that I dont think that stickying things really works, because I overlook most of them if Im honest! Soooo a few questions for you:

1.Do you actually read the stickies?!
2.Do you think the solution to stop threads falling off the page is to sticky them, or do you think they should just be bumped when necessary?
3.Do you think there are too many/not enough stickies?
4.What sort of threads do you think should be stickies?

Personally I think that now we have a search function that stickying 'room' type threads is uneccessary(thats so spelt wrong haha) and I always think theyre overlooked, buuuut am I wrong or right? :P

There are times to stay put, and what you want will come to you.
But there are times to go out into the world and find such a thing for yourself.

I read the stickies a few times but i think the most get over looked and a bump every now and then works better for certain threads, but some are better left stuck up there.

3.Do you think there are too many/not enough stickies? I really don't mind-I don't even notice them now.
4.What sort of threads do you think should be stickies? FAQs? I dunno.

Where can you run to escape from yourself?

3.Do you think there are too many/not enough stickies? It's just right as it is.
4.What sort of threads do you think should be stickies? information about what to post and the ones that are already there plus perhaps sub-section type threads like the mood disorder one in MH discussion because of all the info it has in it.

1. Do you actually read the stickies?! I've read all of them.
2. Do you think the solution to stop threads falling off the page is to sticky them, or do you think they should just be bumped when necessary? I think they should be bumped for a long time so people know it's there, and then stickied after that.
3. Do you think there are too many/not enough stickies? It depends. Some can be combined or re-done to a certain extent. The right information's there, so not too many.
4. What sort of threads do you think should be stickies? Most rules/guidelines, information packages, systems/schemes, etc.

Moved on. Take care.

1.Do you actually read the stickies?! Sometimes.

2.Do you think the solution to stop threads falling off the page is to sticky them, or do you think they should just be bumped when necessary? It depends on the thread. Some I think should be stickied(as people aren't aware of them yet) others (eg. the Special thread/Rainbow Room) should be bumped. They're used all the time and stickying them wouldn't really matter either way. :)

3.Do you think there are too many/not enough stickies? I think some of the stickies should be unstickied (ones that haven't been used in ages and don't serve a huge amount of purpose)

4.What sort of threads do you think should be stickies? My recipe and wicked fun activity thread :P and the More to Love thread.

Maybe until people actually know they're there and they can be used to their advantage. But other than that I don't really know :P

I thought of somethign liv! Maybe in each board with stickies *apart from the closed staff ones and rules ones and stuff* maybe you could make a poll to see how much the open stickies are used? Or read??
