Facebook cause? *pokes RYL staff*

Do you guys think that making a facebook cause about RYL a good idea to raise money? [as i know that there are fees to be paid so the site runs?].

It may potential just be unwanted attention which may bring more trolls? Otherwise it's a nice idea, not sure on practicality. How much money does it make & what are the stipulations attached to the cause? Or how does it work? To be more general. :)

I think that a lot of people probably need to do it to earn enough money to make it worthwhile. Now there's a lot of people on this site, but how many will use it? I know I keep my Facebook separate from RYL, so people I know in real life don't find out about it. It might not bother some people though. Like I wouldn't join because 95% of my Facebook friends don't know anything about my problems, and this might lead to uncomfortable questions. (Err plus I hardly go on my Facebook)

However, if the mods/ Harley / whoever like the idea, then it could be cool I think it's great you want to help RYL.

Another idea might be to do a fundraising type event, and donate the proceeds if you would like to help out?

No, because people can sponcer on here, and like said you can do fundraising out of a website.

Asking people for money just doesnt work, unless they really want to and support the cause
