Yeah I think you should show it to your psych or CPN. I quite often write things down to show my CPN, it really helps when I can't verbalise things.

Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back, everything is different…

i think it might help to show this to someone. like you say you have difficulty talking but it's important you can somehow communicate how you're feeling. also to say, don't give up on yourself, things might seem impossible right now but they won't always be like this so keep going as best you can

hey sweetie, i definately think you should give it to your psych or cpn. i can relate to a lot of what you have said in there (esecially to do with the thoughts) so i can assure you you're not alone in how you are feeling
i think showing them would mean they could get a better understanding and really help you through this difficult time
i know it hard right now, but keep on fighting
im only ever a pm away
take care

This is a fantastic idea, truly. I often get really overwhelmed when talking to "professionals" about this sort of stuff, and I'm sure a lot of people do, too. It's common for people to take time and write it down in letters, and it sounds like you've really taken the time to put your thoughts down logically in that letter. I think it's a really good idea to get your CPN to read it mdear :)

i think it would be a really good idea to give it to you CPN, you have put your point across so well and this will help them to understand and to help you more.
i always tell my psych stuff in letters, its the only way i can say it.
good luck, and i hope you decide to give it to her.

thanx. I'm going to take it with me, but try my hardest to say it out loud first... I'm so scared, and i always have this thing where i click into 'normal' mode, where i can sit and talk even if there are images flashing infront of me, when i'm in a room with the people most likely to help.

I struggle to say what I want to and find it easier to write it down. It takes time to trust enough to talk.
The samaritans vary on their email, but they do tend to write 'bland' responses. If you reply to the email it does start to get better, as the previous person sometimes reads what you have written before. I had a couple of really helpful replies and one that made me feel worse. x

re: the samaritans. I didnt expect much as i know they are very busy, but even if they had just repeated something back at me, anything, it would have demonstrated they'd read it. it was simply 'i understand you're struggling and well done for telling us. email again if you need to'. it actually made me feel more alone!

Why don't you email back telling them how it made you feel? x

i cant do that. i'd feel like i was wasting their resources and if i were to recieve the same response, i'd feel awful.
