ok this guy allways compains about the next generation takeing over and how we are going to ruin the world. i think that our generation is ready i mean if we can get through all that we have we can and will make a diffence in the world. we can do things better then the past generation before us. any thoughts about this?

Every generation has said this about the generation succeeding it, same as no one ever wants to think about their parents generation knowing everything about sex!

I think our generation is no better and worse than any other one in many respects. However I do think many of my generation have no ambition, have no desire to learn for the sake of learning and many are content to live their life doing a job that only just pays the bills. Saying that though in some areas it is not uncommon for people to be 3rd generation unemployed so maybe it's not just our generation.

And saying make a difference on the world, that's a very subjective thing. Personally if you make a major positive difference to one person's life I think that's a significant difference. I also think lots of little things like recycling/using public transport/giving to charity are also making a difference, however it is only our collective efforts that can have a global impact.

What have the 'next generation' had to face, what have they had to get through?

The world will carry on the way it always has done. The current leading generation were much more politically active in their youth and not much has really changed. So in future I really doubt any major differences will take place.

I think the next generation needs to learn how to spell correctly before the take over occurs.
