My elbow =[[
I banged my elbow on a door about 2-3 hours ago. Shortly after a bruise started to form, and now it's killing me!!
I can't fully straighten my arm,its really hurting.
I told my mum(shes a nurse),and she looked at it and said there's a slight possibility it's broken, but she won't take me to the hospital, she said "she's too busy". It's the same elbow i've broken twice before.
She's offered me paracetomol for the pain, but i really don't want to go anywhere near the stuff.
But it really is hurting.
Shall i leave it until tomorrow and see what it's like then,or shall i get the bus?

So stand in the rain. Stand your ground. Stand up when it's all crashing down. You stand through the pain. You won't drown.

listen I know the bus seems to be a pain if your elbow is broken the longer you go with-out treatment the worse it could be for you. If it is broken and you wait for treatment you could cause more damage and require a more invasive or painful treatment than just casting. i suggest you get it looked at just in case. Im just wonderg though why your mom, being a nurse and all, doesnt take you to get it looked at. Im a nurse and part of our training is knowing this fact. Anyway best of luck.

If you have previously broken the elbow, then that becomes a weaker area of bone. Therefore making it easier to brea again. The bruising shows that you have done some form of damage to it.
If it is broken and you sleep on i, you may do more damage to it.
I would advise going to the hospital to get it checked out. Always better safe than sorry. There is noway it can be diagnosed over the internet as it would require an examination and possibly an x-ray.
Take care
