Watering cars?

Yes, here in Fresno, CA, according to a local news station, we water our cars.

"The city is also urging residents to use a bucket when watering their car and to use a hose with a shutoff nozzle for quick rinse."

The news stations here really need a new person to write their online articles. Another one refuses to use punctuation, quotes, or anything of the sort. They leave out capitalize letters at the start of sentences or in names... Reading the articles frustrates me. :(

Does that make the cars grow?

Close your eyes so you don't feel them,
they don't need to see you cry....

I should make them hire me to type up the articles. That's what I should do. :)

"To Whom It May Concern:

I have been reading the articles on your website for quite some time and have noticed the quality of the articles decreasing.

I am able to type upwards of 100 words per minute and can properly use quotations, capitalization, punctuation, and spell check in a timely manner.

I was wondering if you would consider hiring me for a position with your news station in typing the articles of the stories that appear. I'm sure that I wouldn't let you all down. At least it wouldn't suck like the articles do now!"

Want me to make that letter even more forceful for you? Instead of saying thier articles suck now, tell them that their articles will be impeccable (use spell check there) as regards grammar and punctuation.

I'm aghast at some of the errors on stuff.

In forgiving others, we are not exonerating them. They may not deserve exoneration. Rather, in forgiving others we are giving up our anger over the fact that what happened is not what "should" have happened or that our life is not the way it "should" have been.

I love you, Shan.

We're not allowed to water our cars here so they're going to shrivel up and die :(

Ooooo, rewrite the letter! I was just bullshitting, basically, and put no effort into it.

Ooh, or take one of the poor articles, re-write it correctly, and send it to them. :D

That's an awesome idea, Erin. I could do that along with a short note stating that if they're looking for a person who can transcribe the news stories without error I'd be more than grateful to accept the position!

Yes, but rain might not be adequate for the cars to grow and become big gas guzzler cars
