purple glasses are the bes.. mine are purple too!
I didnt suit glasses when i first started wearing them.. but then i think everyone got used to my face with them on and now and its fine.
Failing that.. have you thought abou trying contacts?
They are only for long distance reading, like reading off the whiteboard in college, watching TV, driving (when I start learning to drive)... Can't think of anything else I'd need them for! So I dont know whther they would give me contacts. I'm dreading going into college with my new glasses after Easter :|

I wore contacts all through school, but couldn't afford them at uni, and I thought I'd hate them, but actually I think they're quite cool now!
Don't worry about going back to college, most people probs won't notice or will tell you how cool they look!

I wear contacts lenses .. there good but they move a lot and can just come out. i wear my glasses rarely cos i don't think they suit me.
don't worry about wearing them to college, like already been said they won't notice .. it took someone two days to realise i had my eyebrow pierced lol

Second pair-Brown/black (not sure).
Third pair-Might have been red.
Fourth pair-Purple Versace (get me!)
Fifth pair-Red and white.
Current pair-Light and dark pink.
i love my glasses i got some new ones the other day and noone noticed they was different.
someone i live with was like you wear glasses ! yer like my whole life.
my eyes aint that bad i just have bad scarring at the back of my eyes so i have a lot of problems with lights so thats why i wear them people cant even tell the difference when they look through them lol

there was some girl at my old work who actually brought some of them when i got my new glasses ! strange girl suddenly wanted glasses just because i had new ones lol . she did look like a idiot in them tho lol

haha people always say mine are fake its so annoying as they are clearly not !!!always have to take them off and show them that they was from specsavers lol... bloody scars !!! they think theyre fake because they have cheap weak lenses as i am poor and its not my long/short vision its correcting its my scarring in the back of my eyes. does anyone else have that with their eyes ? i was told it was common
I look smart with mine on... but i hate wearing them becasue then i forget i have them on and wear them home and leave them at home when i'm supposed to use them mostly at work (i get headaches from the computer and stuff) but mine are like a greyish brown. They're actually quite funky!

Wearing glasses to me is normal. Because I can't see much without them, I don't know how I look without them on. I tend to go for basic boring colors, gold, silver, this pair is hematite grey. I wear them 16+hours a day, every day.
But, they hide the big black sinus-allergy circles under my eyes, or at least I pretend they do.
My husband is my best friend.
