I am currently:
don't know what to think...

dont really know where to start with this.
hmm
well today a drugs/alcohol counselling woman came into college to see me.
I didnt know she was coming until 5 minutes before....
I dont really know why she was there.
She came in specially to see me.
People seem to think i have a drinking problem...but i dont think i do...well i didnt.
I mean i know i do drink a fair amount.
And it's kinda a running joke amongst friends that i like the odd pint.
And a couple of teahcers have adressed it on occasion. one of them is convinced im a drug addict lol
but being referred to a drugs/alcohol programme seems a bit extreme...
its all a bit overwhelming.

And i told her i didnt want the help....
its hard enough battling SI and all the other crap im trying to get over...but now another battle has been dropped into my lap.

im ramblin on now.
sorry.

Hi - I guess you need to seriously consider whether you do have a drink problem at this point. If lots of people around you think you do it's worth paying attention to. Is it affecting your college work?

Also are you getting support for the SI already? Because if you are going to get counselling it's better if they know the whole picture.
take care.

I am an alcoholic in recovery, and a self injurer in recovery. In in Alcoholics Anonymous, but it isn't the only way to do things. I find the same kind of stresses and feelings made me want to drink as make me want to self injure.

Think of your drinking this way? It is now how often you drink, but why. If it is to deal with feelings, you might have a problem.

If you have any questions, feel free to pm me.

*hugs*

My husband is my best friend.

In forgiving others, we are not exonerating them. They may not deserve exoneration. Rather, in forgiving others we are giving up our anger over the fact that what happened is not what "should" have happened or that our life is not the way it "should" have been.
