I dunno if this is yet ANOTHER stupid post,buuuut,can people who've been banned from the other site,sign up to this one?
Or,because this will be using the old web addy,are all things like that the same?

We are in the process of deciding what best to do with banned members. We have much tighter control now over registrations, banning and duplicate accounts, and we can ban previously banned RYL members before they even have the chance to register on this site.

Well basically as many people as possible will be auto banned - but as this is the internet, we will have to rely on vastly enhanced tools to track IP addresses and make sure nobody gets let in that shouldnt be.
We have considered in a couple of cases putting them on a final chance system (RYL v3 has auto banning and those systems are rock solid so last chance does mean that)
You can fully assume that nobody will ever have a trouble with this. This site will be vastly safer and more secure than anything we have had before
