Wound Care - puncutre wound

Hi guys.
I have not done this for a while but i have put something sharp through my skin. I left it there for about 10 minutes, and it went really warm and like a big circle of redness all around it.So i took the item out straight away, but it's been like 10 minutes and the redness and warmness are still there?
My fingers have just started to tingle! =[[
Argh, should i be worried? It's never done this before.
Thanks xxx

So stand in the rain.
Stand your ground.
Stand up when it's all crashing down.
You stand through the pain.
You won't drown.

This sounds like you may have hit something important.
How is it feeling now?
Can you move all your fingers?
When you say it tingles, is it all the fingers of just certain ones?

It's still the same.
It's all the fingers,i can move them, but when i do,it kinda hurts, like a tingling hurting sorta thing. Like it's a sharp tingling feeling.
I'm kinda scared now.

Ok, well its difficult to be able to tell what this is without examing your hand and the wound. I would advise geting it looked at by a doctor to ensure that there is no permant damage.

Take care
Kim

It sounds like you may have hit a tendon, ligament or nerve, and as Kim said, you should get it checked out.

Well it breaks my heart to see you this way,
The beauty in life, where's it gone?
And somebody told me you were doing okay,
Somehow I guess they were wrong.

My mum said its nothing to worry about, but it really hurts now,the area does look a lot better, but my hand is really sore. It's not tingling anymore,it just hurts when i move my fingers.
I can't go to the doctors because i have work experience today.

You go to a walk in centre when you finsh work.
You need to get it checed out as soon as you can to help prevent any further damage.
