You are not alone just look how many people on here who post about this all the time. Just because you can't see how many people there are doesn't mean that you are alone *cuddles*
xx

You're entirely bonkers. But I'll tell you a secret. All the best people are.

i think that's right. in fact, one in twenty people can have psychotic experiences as a result of stress/drugs/lack of sleep! that's a lot!

i know it feels lonely though xxx

I only know people with psychosis on RYL and in hospital. I have schizophrenia. I know the stats but it shocks me. Perhaps it counts people who have had very minor psychotic episodes?

PM me if you want a PDF copy of the ICD-10 or the Mental Health Act 1983/2007. I ALSO HAVE THE DSM-V BOOK and am a pharmacology student.

I have a visual impairment / neurological problems so I need people to type in clear text and no funny fonts. Also excuse any typos, my vision blocks things out.
I have autism and have problems communicating, PMs included.
Just becasue I type well doesn't mean I speak well. I am only part time verbal.

I *think* the stats include people who have had milder psychotic symptoms.. in which case I would be included, since about 3 times in the past when I have been VERY distressed and depressed for long periods I start seeing coloured lights and movement and hear things like screaming and banging on walls. :/

maybe it counts drug withdrawl too? I think that after heavy use of amphetamines, weed, cocaine, acid etc can cause paranoia and some symtoms of psychosis??

Roby, yeh in hospital they give me a big info pack on psychosis with loads of articles in xx

Hey.

I know I felt so incredibly alone the first time i realised i was having a psychotic episode.
The first couple of times i was so caught up in it i didn't even realise my experiences were in fact psychosis.

I'm not sure about the specifics of the stats, as in whether they include any type of psychotic experiences (drug withdrawral/sleep deprivation etc), but remember that we are here, and we know what it is like and are more than happy to speak with you about it or just *know* with you.

Hope you are feeling less alone, ^Check out all of these posts!

Ashton
