for me it massively increased my apetite which stressed me out but i didn't have any other side effects. maybe you could ask the doctor about it? it depends, some side effects go away when your body gets used to the meds.
good luck

i had restless legs but that went away after a week or so.
its the only anti depressant that has actually worked for me out of the ones that ive tried.

how long have you been on them?
most people get side effects in the first two weeks then the body gets used to them and the side effects lessn then disappear.

Heyya,
I've never had any experiences with that, but if your side effects are really bad then I think you should go back to your doctor and ask them about it. Take care, sweet. xx

It increased my appetite and made me drowsy but that was about it.

Go and speak to your doctor about your side effects.

Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back, everything is different…

I posted a thread a couple of weeks ago about this actually. I was immensely angry and assgressive and hostile and just so full of rage, it actually scared me as I'm normally quite passive and friendly. It was really bad the first 3 weeks to the point that I simply had to punch things else I was going to hit people. It's been 5 weeks now, and while I'm still more angry at everything than I would otherwise have been, it's definately calming down. Apparently it's a common side effect in under 18 year olds (although I'm 21 but still not exactly old).

Wake me up before I change again
Remind me the story that I won't get insane
Tell me why it's always the same
Explain me the reason why I'm so much in pain.

I put it down on paper and then the ghost does not ache so much.

Don't try to calm the storm, calm yourself, the storm will pass.

Hi, I've been on Mirtizipine for nearly and year now, as I was severely depressed and I'm an insomniac and the doctor said it would help me to sleep which it did for a few weeks, I haven't had any adverse effects other than it not helping me to sleep, they've helped to calm me down so I don't get overly stressed or worried and I've not gained any weight/felt extra stressed/aggressive as other people have listed. I have to say it kinda saved my life as I don't know what I would have ended up doing to myself if I hadn't started taking them, the unfortunate thing with most medication is that some things work really well for some people and in others it can have an adverse effect which isn't really helpful as you don't know how they'll work until you take them.
