I'm sorry I have to be the one to announce this, and after beeing absent from the site for so long I feel like a messenger of death.
I cannot supply any more details at this moment in time, seeing as I literally found out about 10 minutes ago, but Libby died yesterday.
One of her friends was phoned by her dad and said she just didn't wake up in the morning.
She was a huge part of RYL and many of the older members should remember her very well, especially her sweet little obsession with Evanescence and skateboarding "skills". As well as a fellow member of RYL, she was a personal friend of mine, and has been since I was 12. Although our friendship has been turbulent at times and has thinned out in the last few months, it's still unbearable to know she's gone forever. I sincerely hope she's in a better place now, god knows she's been through enough in her life.
There are times to stay put, and what you want will come to you.
But there are times to go out into the world and find such a thing for yourself.
I aint no abacus but you can count on me.
Maja, I sent you a message on facebook, but I wanted to reiterate here. You are in my thoughts, and if you need someone to talk to, I'm here for you. x

admittedly, like maja, our contact has been less over the last few months, but...(bit speechless at the moment)
though times have been bad, i've so many good memories of schinanigans we got up to, i'll cherish them dearly.

I absolutely understand your scepticism, I know this site has experienced a lot of grief because of fake deaths, however for now I can only assure of that the information I received is reliable. But, like with any incident like this, the staff will have to investigate and prove it. I just feel sorry for whoever will be phoning her family to ask if their daughter is actually dead.
It's so sad that it's come to this, having to prove that one of your closest friends is dead to a site she was a part of. This is for your peace of mind, I know. But the people I spoke to - they're not a part of this site, nor are they sick enough to lie about something like this. I honestly wish this was a lie, but I would not have made this thread unless I was absolutely certain.
